      Zach's Original Jerky Seasoning has the perfect blend of spices for traditional jerky. One pound of seasoning will make 25 lb of jerky.

      Jerky is made with very lean meats so that the moisture level in the final product is very dry. The meat is cured, dried and sometimes smoked, but not cooked. Moisture content is low, usually 25-35%. Either the dry- or pickle-cure procedure can be used.   Our recipe and procedure can be found in the recipe section of our website or may be used with your own technique.

      Suggested meats include: Beef Rounds, Venison or other game
